Frequently asked questions
Quick answers about accounts, plugins, licences, subscriptions, refunds and Developer Licensing.
Why does SnoozStudios require an account?
Paid purchases, free plugin libraries, downloads, licences, billing and support are linked to the customer account so access can be managed securely.
Why is 2FA required?
Two-factor authentication adds protection to accounts that can contain purchases, licence keys, billing access and developer licensing data.
What is a paid plugin licence?
A paid plugin is licensed to the purchasing SnoozStudios account. Depending on the product, the licence can have a server activation limit and a 7-day, 30-day or lifetime entitlement.
Can I resell or share a paid plugin?
No. Paid plugin licences are account-bound and non-transferable. Reselling, sublicensing, sharing licence keys, redistributing files or selling the purchasing account is prohibited by the Plugin EULA, subject to rights that cannot legally be excluded.
What is a Free / Lite plugin?
Lite plugins are free releases that a registered customer can add to My Plugins without a Stripe payment or paid licence key.
What happens if a subscription payment fails?
A recurring entitlement can enter a seven-day payment hold. Paid downloads and licence validation are suspended during the hold. If payment is recovered, access is restored; if the hold expires unpaid, access can expire.
How do I cancel a subscription?
Use Billing or the Stripe Customer Portal. Cancellation normally stops the next renewal while access continues through the period already paid for.
What is the refund policy for paid plugins?
SnoozStudios does not normally offer voluntary refunds after a paid plugin has been supplied, downloaded or activated. Statutory rights for faulty or non-conforming digital content remain unaffected.
What are the Developer Licensing refund windows?
7-day Developer Licensing has no voluntary refund. An initial 30-day purchase has a 5-day refund-request window, and an initial Lifetime purchase has a 7-day refund-request window. Statutory rights remain unaffected.
How does Developer Licensing work?
A developer creates a product in the Developer Dashboard, issues customer licence keys and validates those keys from their software using the SnoozStudios HTTPS API and a stable Server ID.
What happens when a licence reaches its activation limit?
A new Server ID is rejected once all permitted activations are in use. Re-validating an already registered Server ID does not consume another activation.
Where do I get plugin updates?
Eligible releases appear under My Plugins & Plans in the Client Dashboard. Version history and changelogs remain connected to the product.
How do I get help?
Registered customers can open a support conversation from the Support Centre. For general enquiries, email support@snoozstudios.com.
